In Verona NJ this afternoon, a hamburger bandit struck the home of 35 year old author Keri English. Yet another bizarre crime in a string of food thievery that seems to have been occurring since around April 27th of this year. The thief stole two tops and one bottom of hamburger buns that were briefly left unattended on Ms. English's kitchen counter.
The occupants of the home were baffled and are positive that all doors and windows were locked. If anyone has information about this crime, a reward will be paid in fresh home made pickles.
