Sheep!
As I finish work on Thursday of week one, strolling to a quiet seat in Bryant Park, the day runs through my mind. Mentally ticking off accomplished tasks and contemplating what time the train will carry me over the water I stride into the park and see this amazing sight. Sheep and wool everywhere. That's wool looking like water. And I am reminded of why it can be hard to leave NYC behind. And I am reminded of the simple things like a sheep in the park that catch me unaware and bring a smile to my lips and uncrease my brow. There's sheep in the park, the train runs all day, and I'll always find comfort in something New York.

Back to Work in Good Spirits
Today I am facilitating orientation and then teaching 2 classes. Does it feel like work? Nope! I am shoulders down walking tall and breathing deep. I forgot how lovely vacationed brain feels, even when it's back to the grind.
This week I learned that 50 Shades is finally starting to fall...READ MORE HERE
I also learned how to breathe: YOU SHOULD TRY IT SOMETIME it's just awesome.

20 miles more
Took a scenic ride down the other half of the CCRT today. Despite a sore butt, it was a gorgeous day! And now to books and oysters one more time!

Birthday Bliss
So I'm having an insanely relaxing time and we decide to hike to a kettle pond that our friend reccommended we investigate. Aparrently it's a secret. I'd tell you where it is but...well actually no I wouldn't. Along the way through a long meandering trail search, we met a couple of locals who honestly didn't want to tell us where it was...even though we were walking parallell to it and yards away. I have heard about things being kept hush hush for their goodness before, but this was absurd.
Well, all I can say is that it was the coolest thing I've ever jumped into. Literally. I've got some more pics on our other phone so they will arrive online eventually...maybe. I've never found such an awesome hidden treat before, and may want to hang onto it a while longer--or indefinitely =)
We swam in a glacial pond (which was warm somehow) in September. Simply amazing.
In the meantime, thanks to everyone for all the warm birthday wishes! This feels like it will be a great day yet again.
Peace and kettle ponds,
Keri

Blissful Day...again :)
Staring my day with a massage in West Chatham and a stroll round the peaceful offseason village may have been the best morning plan in... Well forever. Topped with a bookshop called Where the Sidewalk Ends, cinnamon latte at Monomoy Coffee Co. And a seal watching walk on the beach? Divine. Headed now to Sesuit Harbor for lobster rolls and further sunshine. Ta ta technology!

Bicycles and Bathing Beauties
Rode 20 miles yesterday on the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Loved every minute! Simply serene. The boys got to spend the morning frolicking in a dog pond (with a dog run all to themselves-- pretty sweet)
Always knew I loved it here but this is a whole new level of calm. Om.

Grape Stomp & Jazz Fest
One of the best things about September in Cape Cod happens at Truro Vineyards and we enjoyed it fully yesterday!
Oysters before and after yummy yum, followed by mussels, Crustacea heaven.

Breathing Easier
So this week I am on vacation and I will mostly be popping pictures up here while away. I'm excited to have done so much work that I can actually take a minute to breathe.
In light of that, tomorrow will feature a new Paper Weights on INDIE READER so go check it out to see what's new!
Things that I will not be doing regularly this week include answering the phone, checking email on a regular basis, drinking skim or getting on a train.
Things I have done on the first couple days away: had oysters, had lobster, sipped pumpkin ale, walked in the sand, watched a sunset, had dinner in a restaurant called The Bookstore (I know!) and attended a Jazz Fest/ Grape Stomp at Truro Vinyards.
I love Cape Cod and will now go enjoy more of it. Cheers All. Have a great Monday morning ;-)
Peace and Crustaceans,
Keri

Things I Must Admit Out Loud Today
1. I like Twitter. Who knew! (@WriteLoud that's me)
2. I'm thrilled that I can reach so much further due to yoga and no longer need a backscratching apparatus. Totally alleviates anger. I've got 360 degree Zen,
Scarred for life by vegetation yet again... jeez.
Peace & Produce,
Keri

3. I'm still scared about what the immediate future holds...but looking forward to it at the same time.
4. I am really really ready for this break week. If only to be more productive elsewhere. The last 11 weeks made me insane...well more than usual...
SHARON!!!!
5. Once I know I have all this time to write I don't want to do anything else. This is a very VERY good thing.
I guess that's all for now, but all good things now that it's time to decompress and reevaluate. Oh I almost forgot one!
6. The tomatoes in our garden are so sweet I ate one like an apple with salt on it yesterday--holy freaking YUM! That is so unlike me and I love it.
On that insomniac note! G'nite All! Whatever you do Do NOT Google "tomato" and "bite" together. Scarred for life by vegetation yet again... jeez.
Peace & Produce,
Keri

The End in Sight
Just popping in to say that even when super stressed out after a long day of plagiarism grading and highway driving, it's always nice to come home to my favorite smiles. Or smile and mush I guess ;-)
Having a rough day? It's Wednesday after 5 and I've hugged my dogs for quite a while so yep I know how you feel. Hang in there!
And hug your dogs it's better than Valium ... Or at least is calming for the moment.
